Media Resource Library

The Leaf

“Any book that helps a child to form habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.”

-Maya Angelou

cimg0324.jpg Greendale Library – The Leaf The school library is much more than a library. It is a world of discovery and wonderment. It is a place where our young students learn the importance of books in their academic development. The pupils’ regular visits to the library allow them to develop a gradual understanding of the joy and inspiration books will bring throughout their lives. It will also help to inculcate the love of reading and be a passionate life-long reader. The Greendale library is a well-equipped media resource centre. There is a large collection of interesting books and magazines. It also has the latest educational VCDs, DVDs, CD-ROMs and audio-CDs. Pupils are encouraged to borrow and view them at the Cyber Station or listen to the audio-CDs at the Listening Post. All days are borrowing days! Pupils are welcome to visit the library and be inspired by the world of books.
