SCC@ Greendale Primary School by Singapore EduSmart Learning Hub

Greendale Primary School’s student care centre (SCC) started on 3 January 2012.

 With effect from 1 Jan 2023, the SCC will be operated by Singapore EduSmart Learning Hub ( EduSmart ). EduSmart is established in 2012, and serves more than 1,000 children across several Singapore schools.  

The SCC programme aims to provide an environment for children that caters to their developmental needs through a holistic mix of character development, enrichment and outdoor activities.  There is also supervised study time to complement the school’s teaching.

Monthly SCC fees

The monthly SCC fees in Year 2025 is $240.  A one-month deposit and other miscellaneous fees will also be needed to be paid. 

The SCC operator will assist eligible parents to apply for Student Care Financial Assistance, administered by Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF).

Operating Hours (Monday to Friday)

School Term: After School to 7.00 p.m.
School Holidays: 7.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.

The student care centre is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

More information on the centre’s closure days by end of the year will be provided to confirmed SCC students by early January 2025.

Registration of Interest (for new students, including P1 (2025) students)

Parents/guardians who are interested in our student care services can fill up the registration of interest form online by clicking the link below.

The deadline for registration of interest will be 25 October 2024.

Successful applicants will be notified via email by 31 October 2024, and they are required to make payment by 10 November 2024 to secure a place in the centre for the January intake.

Opening Hours During School Term
Monday: 8:30am to 3.00pm
Tuesday to Friday: 8:30am to 3.30pm
(Last walk-in is 15 minutes before closing time)

Priority will be given to students to purchase their books during recess timings (9.00am to 10.30am) and lunch timings (1.20pm to 2.00pm). Parents/gaurdians are strongly discouraged from coming during these periods given the expected long waiting time.

End-of-Year Holiday Sales for Books and Stationery:
Please purchase the books and stationery online.

Parents may opt for home-delivery or select from available timeslots for self-collection in school.

For self-collection in school, please show your collection appointment to our security guards. Please note that there will be no parking available within the school compound. You may wish to park at the HDB carpark next to the school.

For students under Financial Assistance
If you are applying for MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS), please do not make any books purchase until school has contacted you about your FAS application outcome and provided you with the FAS access code for the books. You may refer to the attached guide for the steps to make the redemption using the FAS access code.

SFX Transport Services

The school's appointed daily school bus operator for Year 2025 is SFX Transport Services. The bus operator can be contacted at tel: 88000262 / 6282 0262 or email:greendalepri@sfxtransport.com.sg

School bus request for Year 2025 should be submitted to SFX Transport Services online by 22 November 2024 (Fri).Please download the app using this link: https://sfxschool.plotigo.app/ to register your child/ward.

We wish to share that the school bus operator is not obliged to provide transport services where the distance between the pick-up and/or drop-off location is more than 4km from the school, or where your child/ward requires after-school drop off for activities ending after 4pm.

If your child is not taking the school bus (e.g. if he/she is on medical leave), please inform the driver.

In the first two months of school, the timings for pick-up and drop-off for your child might vary by 10-15 minutes due to the traffic conditions and the student attendance taking process during school dismissal. The driver may also make adjustments to the routes. We seek your understanding and patience on this.
