Ever wanted to take part in a team sport but are worried about all the bumps and bruises you might get? This might very well be the sport for you. Tchoukball is an indoor team sport which was developed in the 1970s by Swiss biologist Hermann Brandt who believed that “The objective of all physical activities is not to make champions, but to make a contribution to the building of a harmonious society". His aim was therefore to develop a team sport which does not involve the physical injuries commonly seen in other sports.

Tchoukball combines elements of other ball sports such as handball, volleyball and squash. Not physically fit enough? Not to worry. Tchoukball can be played by anyone male or female, irrespective of age or physical abilities. Tchoukball continues to grow in popularity worldwide, with Italy hosting the latest edition of the World Tchoukball Championships held in 2011. If you want to be part of the growing Tchoukball community in Singapore, this is the CCA fit for you.
